Mary Hall

Theology Teacher
O Lord, how manifold are Your works!
In wisdom You have made them all.
The earth is full of Your possessions— Psalm 104: 24

Biography

Mary grew up in NJ, but traveled south and graduated from Auburn University, Alabama in Landscape Design and Ornamental Horticulture with a minor in Floriculture. The most of her 30 year career was spent as owner of a Landscape Contracting/Landscape Design company. Mary has 6 children, the youngest four she raised on her own. She was strongly influenced by her Dad, and engineering graduate of MIT and her mother, a nurse.

In 1990 she opened a Catholic book store in Hendersonville, but closed it in 1995 due to the birth of her twins and pregnancy of her fifth child. Because of her love for the Lord and her desire to serve she completed an undergraduate through Distance Learning in Theology from Franciscan University in 2014.  Continuing on that path she attended Our Lady of Divine Providence School of Spiritual Direction, Clearwater, FL  and graduated in 2018. She and her husband completed the Lay Ministry program in 2020.

She inherited a soft heart from her Mom and finds great joy in helping those who have suffered loss; and is a great advocate of the rosary and of the Consecration to the Blessed Mother, for whom she attributes her strength.

You might find her in the flowers, as her favorite hobby is flower gardening.
