“But in reading great literature I become a thousand men and yet remain myself. Like a night sky in the Greek poem, I see with a myriad eyes, but it is still I who see. Here, as in worship, in love, in moral action, and in knowing, I transcend myself; and am never more myself than when I do.”
– C.S. Lewis
Born in Alabama and raised up and down the south eastern part of the country, Molly-Kate has returned home to these mountains after several years out West and, more recently, two years in Philadelphia while she completed her masters in education through St. Joseph’s University. A seeker of truth, goodness, and beauty, Molly-Kate sees the convergence of that trio and the human condition within the canon of great books and strives to share that with her students. An avid reader and writer, she seeks to cultivate wonder as an educator. In her free time, Molly-Kate delights in spending time with her family, in being outside and in nature, and in dabbling in both poetry and fiction writing.
