DESCRIPTION:“This affiliate status recognizes the good and faithful work of Canongate’s leadership and faculty in providing an authentically Catholic\, integrated and robust curriculum that allows for the proper formation of students towards salvation and sainthood.”\n\n\n\n\nInspired by the Church’s call to engage in the New Evangelization\, a small group of lay Catholics in 2013 opened the doors of Canongate to support and expand Catholic education in the western part of the Diocese of Charlotte.  Now\, after nine years of growth\, prayer\, and dialogue with priests and Diocesan leadership\, Canongate Catholic High School will pursue its mission with the formal blessing of Bishop Jugis. \nPlease take a moment to read the letter which is linked here.  We appreciate your faithful support and hope this news will encourage you as much as it has encouraged us.  You will see in the letter an invitation from the Diocese to attend a Ceremony at St. Barnabas on Wednesday\, May 25th.  We too wish to express our desire for you come and celebrate with us.  Your presence would be an honor.   \nSince Canongate will remain administratively and financially independent of the Diocese\, we request that you continue to support the bishop’s newest school regularly.  The scholarships we offer and the growth we are pursuing will still be based in the generosity of the community. SUMMARY:4th Annual Guardian Campaign
DESCRIPTION:Become a Guardian between March 19th and May 25th\, and you will be eligible to win a $500 VRBO gift card.\nThe drawing will be after the Installation Mass and Ceremony Wednesday\, May 25th at 6:30 pm at St. Barnabas to commemorate Canongate Catholic High School’s official recognition as an affiliate Catholic High School by the Diocese of Charlotte. Everyone is invited to join us to celebrate! \n\n\n\n\nWith each donor referral you will be given an extra entry into the raffle. Please tell your friends and family to enter your name on the referral line on the online form. \nCanongate Guardians support the growth of the school with recurring monthly donations. This faithful giving is instrumental in our efforts to establish Catholic high school education in Western North Carolina for years to come. \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur goal this year is 50 new Guardians!\n\n\n\n\nTo become a Guardian and to enter this year’s raffle\, begin giving $10.00 or more per month. If you are already a Guardian\, you can participate in the raffle by increasing your monthly giving by at least $10.00. \nThe easiest way to get started is to set up your recurring donations through the Donate button at the top of this page. You’ll select the “2022 St. Joseph’s Guardian Campaign”\, select your amount\, select “Recurring”\, and push Submit to set up your account. \n \n\nAll participants\, both new and existing Guardians\, are strongly encouraged to email office@canongatecatholic.org or call 828.712.8924 to confirm your involvement. This is especially recommended for anyone who wants to participate offline by sending monthly donations by mail. \nOnce again\, with each donor referral you will be given an extra entry into the raffle. \nThe donations received through this campaign will be used to create at least 5 scholarships for incoming students next year.  On behalf of these deserving families\, I thank you for supporting their decision to attend Canongate. \n  \nAdditional details to keep in mind:\n1. If you personally can’t take advantage of the vacation opportunity\, consider becoming a Guardian and gifting this vacation to a friend if you win. \n2. For this year’s raffle\, giving more than $10.00 per month – though much appreciated – does not result in a greater number of raffle tickets.  All contributors will be represented by one ticket (except for referrals as noted above). \n3.
